Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager - Talent Acquisition to lead our recruitment efforts in a fast-paced and growing FMCD (Fast-Moving Consumer Durables) organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end talent acquisition process, working closely with business leaders to understand hiring needs, developing and executing recruitment strategies, and ensuring the recruitment of top-tier talent. The manager will also ensure alignment with the organization's overall HR and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for the FMCD sector.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to identify current and future hiring needs.
- Forecast hiring trends and proactively plan for workforce growth.
- Create and maintain a robust recruitment pipeline.
Recruitment Process Management:
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Implement best practices in recruitment and selection to ensure a high standard of candidate experience.
- Monitor key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality of hire).
Sourcing and Candidate Engagement:
- Utilize various recruitment channels (job boards, social media, employee referrals, etc.) to attract top talent.
- Engage with passive candidates and maintain relationships for future opportunities.
- Attend career fairs and represent the company in external recruitment events.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing techniques to build diverse talent pools.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of talent acquisition professionals to ensure high levels of performance.
- Train and develop junior recruitment staff on best practices, tools, and systems.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the recruitment team.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and other third-party vendors.
- Regularly update hiring managers and leadership on the recruitment status and progress.
Employer Branding:
- Work with the marketing team to develop and promote the employer brand.
- Ensure consistency in company messaging across all recruitment materials and platforms.
- Promote the company's culture and values to attract the best talent.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations in all recruitment activities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on recruitment performance, diversity metrics, and hiring trends.
Diversity and Inclusion:
- Champion diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process.
- Work on initiatives to ensure a diverse workforce in line with the company’s diversity goals.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in recruitment, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or leadership role within an FMCD, manufacturing, or similar high-volume hiring environment.
- Experience with end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
- Strong experience in building and executing talent acquisition strategies.
- Proven experience in hiring for diverse roles within the FMCD sector (e.g., sales, supply chain, logistics, operations).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is a plus.
